Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 cup cold butter cubed
  • 8 tbsp ice water as needed
Apricot Cream Filling
  • 2 cups fresh apricots diced
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.33 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

Method
 

  1. Prepare and chill the dough.
  2. Cook and cool the apricot filling, then combine with cream cheese.
  3. Roll dough, fill, seal, chill, and fry until golden brown.

Notes

For extra flavor, add almond extract or drizzle with honey before serving.
