Ingredients
  

Pastry Swirls
  • 2 sheets puff pastry thawed
  • 1 cup apricot preserves
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp water
Honey Glaze
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp warm water
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix preserves, honey, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  3. Spread filling over pastry sheets and roll into logs.
  4. Chill logs for 15 minutes.
  5. Slice into swirls and place on baking sheet.
  6. Brush with egg wash and bake for 18 to 22 minutes.
  7. Brush warm pastries with honey glaze before serving.

Notes

For the flakiest texture, keep puff pastry cold until ready to use.
