- Cook blackberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Thicken with cornstarch slurry and cool completely.
- Mix cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and lemon zest until smooth.
- Cut puff pastry into squares and add fillings.
- Fold into triangles and seal edges with egg wash.
- Brush tops with egg wash and cut steam vents.
- Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 18–22 minutes until golden.
- Cool slightly and drizzle with glaze before serving.
Notes
Chill assembled turnovers for 10 minutes before baking for extra flaky layers.
