Blackberry Swirl

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
Frozen Yogurt Base
  • 4 cups Greek yogurt full-fat
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

Method
 

  1. Cook blackberries, sugar, lemon juice, and zest until softened.
  2. Blend and cool the blackberry mixture completely.
  3. Whisk yogurt, honey, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
  4. Chill the yogurt mixture for 1 hour.
  5. Churn in an ice cream maker until thick.
  6. Layer yogurt and blackberry sauce in a container.
  7. Create gentle swirls with a knife.
  8. Freeze until firm and serve.

Notes

For the smoothest texture, strain the blackberry puree before swirling.
