Ingredients
  

Main Batter
  • 1 cup unsalted butter browned
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
Mix-ins
  • 3/4 cup pistachios chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Brown the butter in a saucepan until golden and nutty, then cool slightly.
  3. Mix butter, sugar, and honey, then add eggs and vanilla.
  4. Combine dry ingredients separately, then mix into wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in pistachios, spread into pan, and bake for 20–25 minutes.

Notes

Do not overbake for chewy texture. Add sea salt or chocolate chips for variation.
