  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract optional

Method
 

  1. Cream butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Mix in vanilla, then add flour and salt to form dough.
  3. Roll, cut into rounds, chill, and bake at 170°C for 15–20 minutes.
