Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugars until smooth, then add eggs and vanilla.
- Mix in dry ingredients, then fold in chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For extra soft cookies, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking.
