Ingredients
  

Tart Crust
  • 1.25 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter cold and cubed
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 1 egg yolk
Mascarpone Filling
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese softened
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.33 cup honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Topping
  • 10 fresh figs sliced
  • 3 tbsp honey for drizzling
  • 2 tbsp pistachios chopped

Method
 

  1. Prepare and chill the tart dough.
  2. Blind bake the crust until golden and cool completely.
  3. Mix mascarpone filling ingredients until smooth.
  4. Spread filling into cooled crust.
  5. Arrange sliced figs decoratively on top.
  6. Drizzle with honey, garnish, chill, and serve.

Notes

Use ripe but firm figs for the best presentation and texture.
