Ingredients
  

Biscuit Dough
  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.25 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.33 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.33 cup honey
  • 1 egg large
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice fresh
Honey Lemon Glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp honey

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk dry ingredients together in a bowl.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
  4. Mix in honey, egg, lemon zest, lemon juice and vanilla.
  5. Combine wet and dry mixtures to form dough.
  6. Shape dough into balls and flatten slightly.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.
  8. Cool completely on a wire rack.
  9. Prepare glaze and drizzle over biscuits.
  10. Garnish with lemon zest and serve.
