  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, sugar, and cinnamon.
  2. Mix eggs, yogurt, melted butter, and vanilla in another bowl until smooth.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients gently to form a soft dough.
  4. Chill dough for 20 minutes before rolling and cutting doughnut shapes.
  5. Heat oil to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and fry doughnuts until golden brown.
  6. Prepare glaze and dip slightly cooled doughnuts before serving.
