Ingredients
  

Peach Filling
  • 2 cups fresh peaches peeled and diced
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
Doughnuts
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs large
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Vanilla Glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk

Method
 

  1. Cook peaches with sugars, cinnamon, butter, and lemon juice until softened and thickened.
  2. Prepare doughnut batter and fold in half of the cooled peach filling.
  3. Bake at 350°F for 12–15 minutes until lightly golden.
  4. Glaze cooled doughnuts and top with remaining peach cobbler filling.

Notes

For the best flavor, use fresh summer peaches and allow the filling to cool completely before mixing.
