Fritter Batter
  • 2 medium pears peeled and diced
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
Cinnamon Sugar Coating
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Method
 

  1. Whisk together dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Combine wet ingredients and mix into dry ingredients until just combined.
  3. Fold in diced pears and fry spoonfuls of batter in 350°F oil until golden brown.
