Ingredients
  

Puff Rolls
  • 2 sheets puff pastry thawed
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries diced
  • 2 tbsp strawberry jam
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 egg for egg wash
  • 1 tbsp water
Vanilla Glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in strawberries, jam, and cornstarch.
  2. Spread filling over puff pastry sheets and roll tightly into logs.
  3. Slice into rolls and place into a lined baking dish.
  4. Brush with egg wash and bake at 400°F for 22–26 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Whisk glaze ingredients together and drizzle over slightly cooled rolls before serving.

Notes

Keep puff pastry cold for the flakiest layers and avoid overfilling the rolls.
