Ingredients
  

Passion Fruit Mousse
  • 1 cup passion fruit pulp fresh or frozen
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream cold
  • 1 tsp unflavored gelatin
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp lime juice fresh
  • 2 tbsp sugar optional
Passion Fruit Topping
  • 1/2 cup passion fruit pulp with seeds
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp water

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Bloom the gelatin in water for 5 minutes, then dissolve gently.
  2. Blend passion fruit pulp, condensed milk, heavy cream, gelatin, lime juice, and sugar until smooth.
  3. Pour into serving dishes and chill for at least 4 hours.
  4. Cook topping ingredients until slightly syrupy and cool completely.
  5. Top mousse with passion fruit syrup and garnish before serving.

Notes

For the best flavor, use fresh ripe passion fruit and chill overnight before serving.
