Main Ingredients
  • 1 whole chicken
  • 8 cups water or broth
  • 3 carrots sliced
  • 3 celery stalks chopped
Seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Sauté onions, garlic, carrots, and celery in olive oil until softened.
  2. Add chicken, water, and seasonings, then simmer for 45–60 minutes.
  3. Shred chicken, return to pot, adjust seasoning, and serve hot.

Notes

Use bone-in chicken for best flavor. Add noodles or rice for variation.
