Method
 

  1. Prepare lemons by zesting and juicing them fresh for maximum flavor.
  2. Heat water and sugar in a saucepan until fully dissolved to create a simple syrup.
  3. Cool syrup completely, then mix in lemon juice, zest, and salt.
  4. Strain mixture for a smoother texture if desired.
  5. Chill the mixture for 2–3 hours before freezing.
  6. Freeze using an ice cream maker or manual stirring method until sorbet forms.
  7. Freeze fully for 4–6 hours until firm, then serve chilled.

Notes

Fresh lemon juice is essential for best flavor. Avoid over-freezing without stirring for smoother texture.
